1. SConnect to be Selected

 

SConnect to be Selected is KBSO’s signature annual event. It is a career fair through which we bring together firms and students, hold mock interviews and company presentations – frequent visitors to our event include KPMG, PwC, Ernst & Young, Deloitte, Wells Fargo, Crowe Horwath, Samsung, Hyundai Motors, LG Display, CJ E&M, AXA, and more.  Prospective candidates freely present their resumes to HR representatives, who, not too rarely, recruit on the spot.

2. Valentines in Paradise (V.I.P)

 

KBSO holds a clubbing event every spring, in partnership with UCLA.

 

USC KBSO와 UCLA KSU가 공동 주최하는 발렌타인데이 테마의 클럽이벤트입니다. 연중 가장 큰 규모의 소셜 이벤트이며 UCLA 학생들과도 교류할수있는 신나는 이벤트입니다.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

3. Speech of Success

 

SOS: Speech of Success is a relatively new event in the KBSO line up – the idea behind this event is to invite those who have achieved success in their lives to come and speak to the students about their trials and experiences.  Through this event, students receive personally directed advice not only on their career paths but also on growing as people.

 

SOS에서는 정재계의 명사를 모시고 그 분들의 철학과 성공스토리를 경청하는 이벤트입니다. 성공에 대한 조언과 노하우를 배울수 있고, 스스로의 꿈과 비전에 대해서도 생각 해볼 수 있는  유익한 시간입니다.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

4. KBSO MT (Membership Training)

 

The KBSO Membership Training trip is one of our major social events – staff members and participating students take an overnight trip to a nearby vacation spot, where students socialize and bond while participating in our activities.

 

1박2일동안 LA 도심 속을 벗어나 평온한 교외에서 진행되는 KBSO MT는 다양한 게임들도 즐기고 맛있는 음식도 먹으며 학생들 사이 친목을 도모하는 즐거운 이벤트입니다.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

5. Recruiting Info Session

 

KBSO often acts as a host for those companies that wish to hold presentations on our campus – when companies, for instance Samsung, contact us and express their interest in meeting our students, we accommodate them by preparing a venue, setting logistics, and gathering students through on and offline advertisement.  Companies then visit and hold semi-impromptu recruiting information sessions, in which they hold mock interviews and comfortably discuss insider tips for job applicants to-be.

 

Past companies for Recruiting Info Sessions: Samsung, SK, Hanwha, Hankook Tire, Korean Air etc. 

 

대기업들의 채용설명회로써 각 기업이 원하는 인재상, 입사 방법등에 대하여 각기업들의 인사담당자들에게 조언과 설명을 들을수있습니다.

6. Korean Food Fundraiser

 

KBSO provides delicious Korean food for fundraiser on campus. All of the income from the event is spent in holding events for students.

 

캠퍼스내 학생들에게 맛있는 한국음식을 판매하여 각종 이벤트들을 열기위해 필요한 자금을 모으는 펀드레이징 이벤트입니다. 모든 수익금은 학생들을위한 이벤트 개최 비용으로 사용되고있습니다.
