The USC Korea Summer Scend Off is a collaboration of all of the Korean student organizations and alumni organizations - parents and new admits are invited to a formal presentation, through which staff members explain the details of attending USC and living in LA.

This mixer has been organized year after year in order to welcome incoming freshmen – freshmen get a chance to meet their schoolmates for the first time, as well as the opportunity to get to know their seniors. This event is one of the many get-togethers KBSO organizes throughout the year to bring together the Korean community on campus.
